At the end of it all, God will reward your good deeds

On doing good, with modesty & kindness.

Good Lord.

I’m a big fan of local music. Kenyan, Ugandan, Tanzanian. But mostly Kenyan music.

There are various artists i love whom i’ll perhaps name later.

Somehow, Ringtone’s music somehow gets to me. First Pamela, and now Tenda Wema ft Christina Shusho.

When i first heard this song, i immediately related to it.

And heres’s why.

The Bible says:

Above all else, guard your heart,

for everything you do flows from it.

-Proverbs 4 : 23

When you do good, it comes from your heart; its genuine, its pure.

In life, it can be so difficult to move on past the pain and the hurt caused by others. So much so that it is easy for one to be blinded by it.

I particularly love this verse about prayer from the Bible:

And when you stand praying, if you hold anything against anyone, forgive them, so that your Father in heaven may forgive you your sins.”
– Mark 11 : 25

No matter the outcome, do everything as though you do it for God.  Don’t wait for validation from people. Don’t wait for congratulatory messages for having done good.

At the end of the day, God will reward you for your good deeds.

Always remember that.

XoXo
