Designer spotlight is column that will be celebrating plus size designers focusing on style and fashion for the plus size woman. You already know, we live, love, celebrate curves around here. We love coming across all things plus size especially for the designers who particularly focus on plus size designs.

FOA is a clothing and accessories company that penetrated into the fashion markets with bespoke swimwear as the main product. Founded by Lister Agumba, the brand’s vision is to encourage holistic healing and creativity especially for the ladies by encouraging one to embrace who they are physically and mentally.

FOA Swim is just on another level and the future sure looks bright. The brand’s tagline ‘Wear Your Freedom’ is meant to bring the above vision to life. Body acceptance and confidence is something that we all need a constant reminder; especially when it requires you to expose parts of your body that are not deemed worthy or clapped at when exposed.

FOA Swim pieces are custom made to suit the plus size body and the client’s creativity. They are edgy, playful, fresh with a little sass. In addition, they are timeless and breathtaking.

For the collection below, FOA Swim design had a dash of pink on all the runway pieces in the aim to raise awareness on breast cancer. The collection was debuted during Kenya Plus Size Fashion Weekend on the 8th of October.

Long story short, we have a new designer crush.
